It is obvious that Bard is up to something recently.

He seems to be gathering up the kids in the town but, their bond is so strong, none of them are giving any information.
“...I’m going to have to punish him when he gets back!”

Even then, Seirun would never have thought that Bard would put himself into wrongdoing.

“Sei-nee is definitely on to me...”
He was lucky that his maid was Seirun.

Only because of her, that she would let Bard go around secretly to do his business.
If it was some other normal maid, things would be a lot different now.

For that reason also, Seirun is an important childhood-friend, and a sister-like person.

“Bard-sama! We’ve been waiting for you!”

Tyros greeted Bard, who just arrived at the town, with an energetic voice.
His body was much bigger and stronger than a normal 13 year-old child, and he dreamed of becoming a soldier in the future.

He was the 3rd son of the famous tailor in the town, fine looking, and a very kind person; kind of cheating in a way---but he treated Bard as a friend, rather than the son of the feudal lord.

His actions often made Bard think of him as a loyal dog.

Of course, it would all be becauseof the memories of his previous lives, Bard gained knowledge and elegance that no other child could have at his age.

“Alright, let’s go to the secret hide-out.”

Bard brought Tyros behind, as if he was Bard’s underling.
The land that which Bard had bought with his allowances for an extremely low price, has an area of approximately 1R(100 square metres) and was now a small farmland.

“Hey! Bard-sama! Take a look at this! It has become so huge!”

“Hey, does this even taste good?”

At the farm, two kids seemed to be having fun while spraying water.
Porco, with a mercenary father, and Margo, with a merchant mother.
“It should almost be the collecting season. I’m glad they don’t need too much care.”
Bard murmurs as he looks at the farm.

“I asked my dad but, I heard it’s not really something edible.”

“Huh? Is that true Bard-sama?”
The curious Porco had apparently collected information on his own.

The hungry Margo on the other hand, could only think of eating what they collect.

“Well, I guess, if you try to eat it raw. The nutrition values aren’t so bad though.”
Bard noticed himself grinning as he watches the reaction of the two.

Although all three of them were older than him, because of Bard’s memories from the past lives, he could not help but see them to be very young.

“So what are you planning to do with this?”
Tyros, the oldest one of the three looks into Bard’s face with a curious look.

Since Bard was the one who told them to make this, all three had the eyes of trust and hope.

While feeling a little awkward seeing how single-minded they are, Bard sensed a sense of mission as he replies.

“Okay, we’ll collect them later. For today, I’ll tell you guys what we are going to do with these.”

“Yeeeahh!”

Tyros, who was usually a calm guy seemed to be very happy.
Apparently he was very curious as to what the identity of the crops was.

“(It is something that has been growing in the mountain for years but nobody cared about...)”
After pulling out a largely swelled crop, Bard leads the horde to the side of the farm, towards a small wooden hut.

“Margo, you mince this crop to small pieces. Tyros and Porco pour water into a bowl and heat it. ”

“Got it!”

As he watches the three begin to prepare, Bard sneakily grins with an evil face.
“Hue hue hue. The time has come. The time for me to use the present knowledge cheat code in order to make loads of money!”
It was merely a year ago that the greed from Oka Sanai and Masaharu’s chuunibyou managed to join together without losing integrity.

Until then, Bard had a full on multiple personality disorder.

Inside the mind of  Bard was the high school student Masaharu, and Sanai, who lived through the war times.

They would conflict with each other, and come out whenever one of them emerged a strong feeling towards something.

The reason why even in that state, Bard managed to go through a healthy growth is through the love of his parents, a close contact with Seirun, and most of all through the relentless training from Magotte that prevented the three from thinking too much.

The hard training that may have even ended his life forced the boy’s mentality to strengthen, and the personalities all decided to work together, in order to survive.

In order to escape from Magotte’s demonic hand, the ‘New Bard’ was born.

Recalling the days that he would never want to recall, Bard tries to shake it off his head.

The crops are much more important than that hellish experience.

“(If this shall complete...we will collect money, then purchase a new farmland.
Hire more workers, and make a bigger network through merchants...damn, so much to look for!)”
Seeing Bard act oddly like this, Margo, Porco and Tyros whisper to each other.

“Bard-sama is making that evil face again.”
“Seeing that face really makes me feel reassured that he is a child, like us.”
“No no. He must be thinking about something great that we can’t even imagine.”

What Bard was growing at the farm was called sugar beet.
It was a plant whose root contained a high concentration of sucrose, commonly collected in this era from sugar canes.

Since it produces many leafs, it is often used as a salad, with the leftover root being fed to the livestock.

It has a long history of usage, but it's use as a source of sugar only began from the middle of the 18th century.

With the warm climate of Aurelia, sugar was only produced in the southern area, in the Kingdom of Sunphan, and other countries close to the sea.
Needless to say, this sugar was produced through sugar canes.

Thus in this world, beets were not recognized as a source of sugar, yet.

“Did you make sure to mince them? Alright, let’s put that in the bowl. Make sure it doesn't boil, it will ruin the flavour.”
Bard gave orders one by one.

“Hurray! So it actually will taste good!”
“Hmmm… I heard it has a light flavour and it doesn’t taste that good...”

After one hour of simmering, Margo got bored, but Porco, with his strong curiosity, kept watch over the bowl, making sure it did not boil.

His stubbornness is what characterizes Porco, and he might become a great mercenary like his father.

“Okay, lightly squeeze the roots with a cloth. Then, continue simmering a bit more while removing the lye.”

“That’s it?”
Margo tilted his head.

“I’m sure we won’t get too much, but it will definitely surprise you guys.”

“Wouldn’t there be nothing left if we keep simmering the soup?”

Unsatisfied, Porco raises the heat and waits for ten minutes when, the soup squeezed through the root began to form a gel like substance.

Pouring the lightly brown liquid over to a plate, Margo, who seemed to be unable to contain himself anylonger asks.

“Hey, can I eat this? It’s done, right?”

“We don’t have much, so just a bit on your finger.”

Then suddenly Tyros and Porco shove their fingers as well.
“Thank you for the meal!”

“Sweeeeeet!!”
With a shout of joy, the three continue to carry the sugar into their mouth.

On this warm continent, it was very rare and expensive to obtain pure sugar from sugar canes.

Beekeeping was also not popular, so the sweets of the citizens were generally fruits.

“Wow! Damn! Bard-sama! I’ve never had such a sweet thing!”

“This is sugar right? How? How can this thing produce sugar?”

“I had some doubts but...this is amazing...”

Margo, who seemed happy after each lick, and Porco and Tyros who were showing full astonishment with their bodies since they did not believe Bard at first.

Watching the three, Bard smiles with a sense of fulfilment.

“(Finally, I can see the path to collect money with this crop. Now more! Bring money like crazy! Let’s collect so much money that counting it would take a lifetime! And then I shall---no, not that. That will completely end my life as a human. Damn, I’m just one step away from the mountain of golden coins…!)”

“What’s wrong with Bard-sama?”
Tyros answered Margo, who seemed to be questioning Bard.

“He is thinking of something very difficult.”
Porco quietly murmurs,

“He seems to be in pain to me…”

Even the three of them would never imagine that Bard was conflicting with Sanai’s greed to fill the floor with golden coins, and roll over them completely naked.

It must be repeatedly told that, he who cornered the ‘Dokugan-ryu’ Date Masamune (With less than 1/100 of soldiers) had an inexcusable fetish.

It was not at the level of renting money, or working as a merchant.
In reality, there were other samurais who were told to be a miser.

The famous Fukushima Masanori and Katou Kiyomasa both passed on their lesson of values of savings for their descendants.

However, Sanai would go through a ritual once a month in the deepest room of the house.
This ritual was to put coins all over the room floor and roll around them fully naked.

“Damn! This feels amazing! This is what I’m living for!!”

It was like a money bath of the current age, but Sanai must have been the only one in the entire land to do such a thing.

The reason why Sanai, known to be an expert in both war and politics, had to change his masters often may be due to his unspeakable fetish.

“(Shit, the money...the magical powers of money are trying to deceive me...endure it! You have to endure it Bard!)” [Sanai]

It took Bard 5 minutes to regain his calm through a harsh mental battle.

“Do not tell anyone about this sugar, got it? If you dare spread it, I will exclude you from this group, and I will never hire you as a servant. This is part of your training of becoming my retainer in the future.”

“Of course!”
“It’s okay!”
“Leave it to me”
Porco, Margo and Tyros all nod.

After ordering the three who just felt their greatest happiness of their lifetime to continue collecting sugar beets, Bard headed over to the shopping street.

~~

After walking through the busy shopping street in the afternoon, Bard finds a certain merchant.
Although small, with a very elegant and neat atmosphere, the merchant shows a big sign that says, ‘Savarin Corporation’

“Making some money?”
“Somewhat, I guess.”

The one who immediately responded to Bard’s question was the manager of the firm, Serena Savarin herself.

“I see it went well, Bard.”
Laughing like a flower in bloom, the 18 year-old Serena smiles.

A slim nose with small lips and beautiful eyes make her look more like an ‘experienced lady’ rather than a ‘beautiful girl’.

What Bard was most affectionate about was what lied on top of her head; the two dog ears that were folded around half way.

She was a therianthrope; a human beast.

Every time Bard sees the beautiful fur, he is seized by the greed to rub his face all over it.

Only through that, will Masaharu’s last wish, ‘Which is better; dog ears or cat ears?’ gets its answer.

However, no matter how many times he asked, Serena never allowed him to touch her.

Within the land of Aurelia, human beasts were not uncommon.

It is told that they are descendants of Broccus the hero who made a contract with the Beast King Zorras, thus there are two major types; dog ears and cat ears.

Some have much more sensitive senses, and can be physically stronger, but it is very minimal, and is not even close to that of real animals.

Simply put, they are just simple humans with special ears and a tail.

Serena, with her very beautiful looks, and who reluctantly took over as a merchant due to the death of her father, was once almost kidnapped by her uncle.

Serena was still able to remember Bard, who saved her, and his gallant figure back then.
And while remembering, she could not hold the tingling feeling she felt as a woman on the lower body.

Back then, Bard was only 9 years old, but his bravery was as great as the legendary heroes.

The Savarin Corporation opened when Serena’s father, Massoud, who used to be a peddler, and her mother, Lilia, fell in love, in order to have a sustainable living.

Although small, using the connections and knowledge the father had from his peddler ages, they were able to bring profits, and became one of the greatest known merchants in the land of Cornelius.

If not for the incident, it may have grown to become a much bigger, famous corporation.
However, Massoud ended up having to run around the entire kingdom for Lilia, who suffered a disease that caused her internal organs to rot over time.

After hearing that even the divine magic could not heal the disease, Massoud decided to reach for the black magic, in which he would try to switch his own organs for Lilia’s.
He must have been absolutely desperate.

If not for Lilia’s conditions, he would have been able to make reasonable decisions, but it was just not possible.

As a result, Massoud died after giving his own organs to Lilia.

Lilia suffered a massive reaction with the new organs and died as well.
If you think about it, it is obvious that if such easy treatment were possible, it would be known throughout the land.

Massoud must have received some great scolding in heaven by now.

Her father was wise, and was able to move to action quickly, but seemed to be missing a screw.

It was 2 days after the funeral that a 16 year-old Serena met her uncle.

Her uncle said that he will train Serena to become a great successor, so she responded by saying, ‘This company is already owned by me and I’ve already received approval from the guild.’

Suddenly with the looks of a devil, her uncle began a long speech.

According to him, 'It cannot be left in the hands of a little girl with no experience’.
And, ‘I am a well known merchant in the imperial city, so you can leave everything to me.’

Serena, who did not think her uncle was a fine merchant at all, completely kicked the offer.

He only seemed like a hyena that seeked for assets, which was the truth.

After noticing that it is impossible to turn over Serena's words, he left the Savarin Corporation.

Serena believed she was strong and wise enough to not be deceived by some idiot like him, but few days later she realized that she underestimated her idiocy.

“You puny girl...you should have listened to me, then I would have forgiven you with just selling you as a prostitute.”

“I’m sorry, but I have high standards for men. You pigs can stay in your pigsty.”
It was Serena’s carelessness.

She needed to be quick on her feet as a merchant that just recently took over the job.

Receiving a huge business discussion with a customer, she headed towards a warehouse district where she found multiple men and her uncle, having an evilish grin.

“You really think I’m not going to tell anyone about this?”
Although she knew it was futile, she gave out a roar.

Any murder with the intention to steal money is instantly a death penalty.
If they kill Serena, it was obvious that most people would suspect her uncle.

“For the daughter who lost her parents to throw away her life out of despair is not uncommon. If it is through death by drowning, there won’t be any proof.”

“Hm, bastards. (I guess I’m going to get scolded by my mom  just like Dad.)”

Although she did not give up, she knew that this place may become her deathbed.

If it was just the uncle, things would be easier but, there were 8 other men, and 2 of them had the visage of a killer.

Although human beasts excel in physical abilities, Serena quickly noticed it was not going to help against these men.

“Bullying one damn cute girl with multiple men, huh...”

Hearing a high pitched voice like a child, everybody at the scene turned around; there was an angel-like beautiful boy.

What the boy---Bard was saying was incomprehensible due to his words being in a foreign language, it was somewhat obvious that he was mocking the men.

“You little brat!”

Normally, Bard would be considered as the victim who accidentally got caught in a huge trouble.

However Serena, after seeing Bard’s eyes, thought that she was finally safe.

Just like lions or tigers, those with power can easily be distinguished from those who don’t just by looking into their eyes.

Especially for human beasts, those senses were strong.

“Hey, kill him. You brat, you’re going to curse your carelessness in hell.”

“What, y’all don’t want your lives? Man, you make me mad...”

They probably thought that capturing or killing a little child won’t take any effort.

The moment those men reached out their hand, Bard moved in a flash.
Such speed of a lightning bolt.

Bard reaches into the waists of the closest guy, steals his knife, and without a moment of hesitation, Bard stabs him in the throat.

Within the flow, he moves onto the next guy, and stabs his heart.

After taking his knife, Bard throws it at the third guy who was approaching him.

For such a small body, Bard swings around a long one-hand sword like he is doing some exercise, as he taunts the men.

“ ‘Tis a bit hard to use, but it shall do. Let’s do it up, idiots.”

Bard, with a expression full of contempt, takes a look at the other men.

His expression was the definite sign that those on the superior side showed to the inferior.

For guys who were used to using weak spots to make fun of others, and become socially unaccepted, it was something they could not unsee.

“This brat! Kill him! Kill him now!!”

At this time, 2 men understood completely from the atmosphere around Bard that he was not an ordinary boy.

On the other hand, the other men who could only judge from appearances, attempted to take revenge on Bard.

The next moment, Bard’s small body suddenly disappeared.

Bard slid down on the floor line, as he slashes 3 men from the shin down.

“Gyaaaahhhh!!”

No man could stand without their dominant foot.

Without even a single glimpse on the men who were agonizing in pain, Bard throws a knife towards Serena’s uncle.

“Oh..noooo!”

Serena, who heard the scream that felt closer than she expected, unwillingly leans backwards.

This hopeless man was apparently in attempt to use Serena as a hostage.

“I’m paying you guys big bucks! You have to kill him no matter what!”

The men with evil looks begin to take action as they listen to the order from a guy who barely managed to escape from the knife.

Their malicious intent was incomparable to the other men.

Even then, Bard stood tall, completely unchanged from before.

Bard sensed that, those men only took on those who were weaker than them.

“Magotte is 100 times scarier than y’all.”
He did not hesitate.

As if he was walking through a plain field, Bard walks towards the enemy.

They thought they were being mocked; with sophisticated moves, they send out their slashes, but that was it.

As Bard dodges, and moves in, he throws the guy over his head, then putting all of his strength into his heels, Bard drops it on the man’s throat.

“Glahah!!”

The man stopped moving, as he squeezed out all of his air from his lungs.

The other man was sweating through his entire body due to the fact that a young boy had just killed his partner without any mercy or hesitation.

“I can’t win. There is no way I can defeat someone who steps on us like bugs.”

In the corner of the man’s sight, he saw his employer slowly approaching the girl.

“Take a look at that. You want that girl to die?”

The man who suspected his loss spoke, then quickly started escaping.

When Bard’s attention turned towards Serena for a brief moment, the man was 3 steps away from Bard’s sword range.

The man then quickly ran away as fast as he could, then takes a breather from joy.
However---.

‘Clank!’

“People can die with just rocks, ya know?”

What struck the man was a flat rock, thrown by Bard.
Such a common rock can turn into a lethal weapon when it came to Bard.

The ground turned red as the man falls while bleeding from his head.
Whether he is on the verge of death, or is already dead, he will probably never get back up.

“D-Don’t move!!”

Mesmerized by Bard’s swift movements, Serena suddenly remembers with the scream, that her uncle was trying to use her as a hostage.

How foolish.

He may have possibly survived if he had tried to run away.

“Drop your sword! Don’t you care about this girl!?”

Serena thinks, ‘Does using a hostage even work against an unknown guy who speaks a foreign language?’

To a man with blood running up his head, such logic did not exist.

“I can kill ya before you even touch that bairn.”

“I told you to drop your sword! Did you not hear---”

After a swift sound of air blowing, the uncle received a deep stab in the forehead and as the blood bursted out, he died.

Whether or not he understood what happened before dying…

Even Serena could not see the moment Bard threw his sword.

In a different way, there was no purpose of having a hostage.

“Th--Thanks.”
Serena bows to show her gratitude.
“(I'm most likely safe, but because I can’t understand his foreign language, I should avoid irritating him..)”

The moment she thought that, her legs lost strength, and Serena fell to the ground.
Her legs were shaking.

Her body finally reacted to the reality that she was almost killed.

“Huh?”

A breathless voice fell as Bard suddenly petted her head.

“Umm, sorry, did I scare you?”

Suddenly speaking a common language, Bard continued to pet her head.

Serena didn’t know that Bard’s attention was completely towards the dog ears.

“Dog ears...Real dog ears...this world is amazing!”

Speaking another foreign language, Bard’s expression contrasted the demon-like visage he had until a few moments ago, made him look like a completely different person.

Relieved, tears fell from Serena’s eyes, but seeing Bard acting in panic made her laugh.

~~

After recalling such memories, Serena takes a look at the 11 year-old, manly grown Bard.

Bard’s appearance was such that it would be very popular with women, and his delightful personality definitely hit Serena’s preference.

“Hey, try some of this.”

“Just this much…?”

“Don’t ask for the impossible towards a sample.”

Serena throws in a lightly brown ball into her mouth.

As the unique sweetness melts in her mouth, Serena makes an expression of joy.

“mmmmmmm….Sweetness rocks!!”

She may be a merchant but, Sugar was just not something so easily obtainable.
The high expenses, and the definite lack of absolute quantity.

“How is it?”

“It might depend on preferences, but I love this one much more!”

“Yes!”

Bard makes a fist with his right hand and pulls his elbow, to express his happiness.

To Serena, this action did not make any sense, but it was clear that he was happy.

I want to make this our---domain of Count Cornelius---specialty goods but, it is extremely easy to make, so eventually people will copy us.
So I want to use this as a quick earning in order to move on to the next step.

“So that’s why you want us to sell this for you?”

“Yup, so it’s about time you let me touch your ear--”

Reaching over to a fluffy dog ear, Serena slaps his hand as she speaks with a bit of mischief.

“I’m not that cheap of a woman.”

Human beasts only give permission to those they love to touch their ears.

Within her heart, she thought that she wouldn't mind letting him touch her, but she could not take his playful attitude.

If he were to love her as a single woman….it would be fine.
“Damn it. Actually though, it’s not like I’m leaving everything up to you.”

“...hm?”

Sensing something odd in Bard’s words, Serena changes her expression.

From the way she met Bard, Serena could not look at Bard as though she was looking at an ordinary 11 year-old boy.

With Bard’s mischievous expression, it strengthens her suspicion.

“I actually just want to borrow your name as a merchant. Needless to say, you would have to do all the actual stuff but, I want to make and move money the way I want.”

“How far are you going to take part of this?”

“Just general stuff. What to buy. What to invest on. All the money? Half? The rest, I’ll leave it up to you and your skills.”

“And how much do I get?”

“Payment for the name plus 10% of the profit.”

Serena takes a great lean forward, close to the distance of real lovers to his face, and glares at Bard’s eyes.

“You’re taking me too lightly. 30%.”

“I’m paying for all the funds. You’re profiteering. 15%.”

“Whatever you’re buying or selling, however you’re contracting, without me, it’ll all end as a dream. Do you have someone else you can ask for? 30%.”

Bard scratches his head as Serena acts much more stubborn than he expected.

Realistically, there were no other acquaintance to give the offer to.

To think that it would be easy for Serena to work on a business that has no PPN...was such a naive idea.

Accommodating would be so simple but, giving her the 30% would total to become such great loads of money...darn!

Then---.

“Okay, I’ll let have the 30%....If you let me touch your ears.”

“hm?”

With an unexpected turn, it was her turn to blush and step back.

For Serena, the only reason why she asked for so much was because she didn’t want everything to go in Bard’s way.

She knew that Bard had no other connections with merchants but if, in a one in million chance, Bard declined the offer here, she would be the one to take a stronger hit.

With certainty she knew that Bard’s invention would create a big fortune, she would never decline such an offer.

With a sweet treat called ‘30%’ AND an opportunity to close the gap between her and Bard, Serena turned as red as a tomato and replied.

“If it’s just a little...just for now.”

Completely forgetting the fact that just a few moments ago she said, ‘I’m not that cheap of a woman’ she offers the half folded ear to Bard.

“(That’s right. This is for the sweet 30%. NOT because I want him to touch my ears...)
...Aahh!?”

Bard’s thin fingers reached out and rubbed her ears, making her let out a moan.

Somewhat ticklish, but also heartwarming. Serena unconsciously closed her eyes, and  focused all of her senses on her ears.

The shaking shoulders and the flat ears as though they were scared of something completely fascinated Bard.

Masaharu’s memory awakens inside Bard’s mind.

Dog ears are supreme---dogs or cats, the final answer was brought to such question, thought to never end.

“(The fluffiness...it’s amazing!!)” [Masaharu]

“Mmmmmm..kyuuuu”

It was obvious that Serena, leaking a cry like a dog, was not unhappy just by looking at her large, fluffy, waving tail.

After granting the long awaited wish of feeling the furs, Bard began to rub the insides of the ear--a pink coloured sensitive area.

Completely out of control as the greed orders him, Bard leaned over closer to rub his face on the ears.

“DON’T GET AHEAD OF YOURSELF!!”

“Guufh.”

As he leaned over to embrace Serena’s head, Bard received a full-force punch straight to his stomach, and flew off 3 metres.

A wonderful body blow that even Bard with high combat skill level could not react against.

“I told you...I told you it was for just a little bit!...It was my first time...and you didn’t hold back at all…!!”

Bard noticed that he went a little too far after seeing Serena completely blushed and with some tears around her eyes.

Fluffiness is justice, but a woman’s tears overrule justice!

“It is my fault. I am sorry.”

“This time was special okay? If you don’t become more nice to me ‘next time’, I won’t forgive you!”

“Yeees! Unswerving determination for 2 years and I finally get the Fluffy Ticket!!”

“O...Only when I say you can touch it, okay? I’m not going to let you touch it just because you want to!”

“....May I ask what you two have been doing for the past few minutes?”

“...huh?”

Bard and Serena both turn around, as they find the clerk of Savarin Corporation, Lelona looking unamazed, with a bit of blush.
“AAAhhhhhh!!”

Noticing that she had been standing there, Bard and Serena immediately felt a sense of embarrassment and screamed.

“You two are old enough that...not really, but you should know that you are facing one whom is stands at the head of the country.”

“I have nothing I can say to that.”

Serena’s parents hired Lelona a while ago to raise her as the future executive member of the merchant.

With that being said, she is just a beautiful woman who is only 26 years old, with beautiful black long hair and a marvelous body line.

So many men approach her but, no sign of progression seemed to arise.
Serena always thought Lelona was wasting her chances.

“---It’s none of your concern.”

“I didn’t say anything!”

Although Serena Isn't stupid, she still cannot stand against Lelona.

In reality, the Savarin Corporation’s results come largely from Lelona’s office processing skills.

“Young-Master Bard, it seems you are about to start something fun. If you would allow us to partake in this, we are fine with 20% for the reward.”

Although this deal is much less than Serena’s offer, Serena trusted Lelona to let her take over.

“Any risks will be on your responsibility.”

“That is fine. We will check on a 10 minute basis on whether it is worth it.”

It seemed Lelona was much more than what Bard expected. If he screw up, the Savarin Corporation with a much stronger capital strength can completely swallow the business.

This corporation has the strength to build up Bard’s plan as big as they want.

“Please do not worry. We will not act as to lose our patron’s trust.”

As if to say that she completely knows what Bard is planning in the future, she grins.

If you think about it, it is easily possible to use Ignis’ connections to bring a much larger firm into this deal.
There would be no way for Serena or Lelona to bring such disadvantage for Bard who is the count’s successor, with lots of money.

After scratching his head over an odd feeling, Bard looks over at Lelona.

“If that’s the case, let’s work together as partners from now on.”

After making a slightly evil looking grin, she murmurs, ‘Oh yeah.’

“As a return for lowering the reward, I would like you to refrain from playing with our president’s ears. For human beasts, to allow one to touch their ears is identical to letting one have their body. Of course, this would be a different story if you would like to take her as a partner both for business and personally.”

“...Huh?”

“..Really?”

Serena blushes completely down to her necks as Bard, standing besides her noticed he must’ve stepped onto a mine.

“Although, it doesn’t seem like our president wouldn’t prefer that...”

“L..Lelona! I’m going to get mad if you continue like this!”

"I have said something out of line.”

At the scene, Lelona seemed to have claimed a clean victory.

“Serena seems like a well grown lady in front of Bard, but to Lelona who has been taking care of her since childhood, she seemed to be at a disadvantage.”

“Anyways, can you start by selling this sugar at the imperial city? With that money, I would like you to buy something...as many as you can.”
